As a massage therapist and an out-of-hospital midwife I work with men, women and families as they move through the smaller and larger transitions of life. My massage practice is grounded in the practical, anatomical, and the intuitive knowledge of the body and spirit. My therapeutic focuses include the relief and resolution of pain from headaches, migraines, low back pain and hip pain. I work with prenatal and postpartum women, professional and amateur athletes and am certified in the Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Therapy®.
Through my training and practice as a midwife I have become passionate about working with women in all of the phases of our lives – from menarche to menopause and the childbearing years in between. I am honored to be a educator, guide and midwife for women on their healing, birthing, and life journeys.
In my 15 plus years of practice I have also been very grateful to have had much experience working with men. Many of my male clients come to me for deep tissue therapy, repetitive stress injuries, chronic pain and BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyerplasia). I feel strongly that men should be able to access compassionate and focused care in the alternative healing world, as they are often overlooked in this realm.
I work to provide that space of healing and recuperation equally for men and women, as well as for each and every gender.
